Clay Lipsky is an Emmy Award winning designer/director based in Los Angeles .
He has worked his way through the media landscape for clients such as Sony, Microsoft, Yahoo!, Disney, HBO, ABC, FOX, Discovery, BBC America & PBS. Clay has applied his unique visual style in print, on air, and online from event graphics to commericals, film titles and the luminous signs of Times Square.
During his career, Clay has led the re-design of the Toon Disney Channel and cultivated new brand identities for regional TV networks SUN Sports (formerly Sunshine Network) and SportSouth (formerly Turner South). In addtion, he has built comprehensive broadcast packages for the NBA, NHL, MLB, NASCAR and NCAA along with their respective championships... Super Bowl, Daytona 500, World Series, BCS.
As a director, his music video work has been featured on MTV and shown to international acclaim thoughout film festivals in Europe and Asia. While collaborating with Quincy "QD3" Jones III, Clay served as lead artist for the multi-platinum "BEEF" hip-hop/rap trilogy and the 3x platinum DVD movie "Tupac Shakur-Thug Angel". In addition to his two Emmy Awards, a music video he created for SuperBowl XXXIX won a BDA Gold Award and was added to the permanent collection of media at the United States Library of Congress. |
